Atlantic Transplant Program                                                                   
Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Atlantic Transplant Program serves the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. The Program also administers an organ donor registry for residents of Nova Scotia.

Canadian Association of Transplantation (CAT)
The Canadian Association of Transplantation is a national non-profit association of health professionals committed to facilitating and enhancing the donation/transplant process.

Canadian Organ Replacement Register
The Canadian Organ Replacement Register is a national registry which records and analyzes numbers and outcomes of vital organ transplants and renal (kidney) dialysis.

Coalition on Donation
The Coalition on Donation is an alliance of national organizations and local coalitions. It was founded in 1992 to educate the public about organ and tissue donation, correct misconceptions about donation, and create a greater willingness to donate.

International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA)
The International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA) is a professional organization of individuals in the field of pediatric transplantation. IPTA is dedicated to promoting technical and scientific advances in pediatric transplantation and to advocating for the rights of all children who need transplantation.

National Organ and Tissue Donor website (Canada)
The GiveLife website was developed to assist Canadians in making informed decisions regarding organ, tissue, and bone marrow donation. This site provides some national information regarding organ donation, but more importantly acts as a portal to the many provincial organizations that are mandated to oversee organ and tissue donation programs in each region. 

Quebec Transplant                                                                             
Québec-Transplant est l'organisme officiellement mandaté par le Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux  pour assurer la coordination du don d'organes au Québec. 

Quebec Transplant is an organization with an official mandate from the Ministry of Health and Social Services to assure the coordination of organ donation in Quebec.

United Network for Organ Sharing (U.N.O.S.)
UNOS members include every transplant program, organ procurement organization and tissue typing laboratory in the United States. This site is an excellent transplant resource.

United States Renal Data
The United States Renal Data System (USRDS) is a national data system which collects, analyzes, and distributes information about end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in the United States.

David Foster Foundation
The David Foster Foundation was established in 1986 as a means to help the families of children needing organ transplants. The Foundation provides funding for non-medical expenses throughout the procedure, from initial assessments to postoperative check-ups.

The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) is independent from government and monitors and enforces British Columbia's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
