Are you a teacher or student wanting to share information about organ donation with you classroom? BC Transplant has some resources for you!

There are a lot of misconceptions about organ donation. We believe the more we educate people about what it means to register as an organ donor, and the lifesaving benefits of transplantation, the more lives we have the potential of saving. 

Classroom Opportunities
Transplant recipients and/or BC Transplant staff are available to speak to your classroom about the importance of organ donation, answer questions, and dispel common myths and misconceptions.

A campaign kit for your classroom or school presentation with some posters, pens and fact sheets is a great way to help your classmates understand organ donation. Order your kit by emailing

The award winning documentary film "65_Red Roses" is an incredible story of young Eva Markvoort, her battle with Cystic Fibrosis and her wait for a double lung transplant.

BC Transplant offers a Teacher's Guide to accompany the film, promoting organ donation and address Learning Outcomes in Grades 10-12. The guide is well suited for course criteria for Science, Social Studies and English.
