She works closely with renal patients to ensure they are taking their medications, while monitoring side effects and changing medication as required.

He lives life to the fullest every day as none of this would have been possible for him before transplant.

Between the two, there are approximately 1,000 kidney transplant recipients they follow.

Fast forward a few years and to her surprise, her brother-in-law Mark called to share good news that he was going to fly in from Alberta to be her kidney donor.
